Of Curses and Kisses by Sandhya Menon

It seems like fall is the best time to read spooky thrillers and fairy tale retellings. I’ve always liked beauty and the beast. It’s a story about a bookworm and I mean that the library that is in the castle is a goal for my future house.

Summary-

Princess Jaya’s family is everything to her. So when her sister gets hurt by someone in the Emmerson she comes up with a plan. Get an Emmerson boy to fall in love with her and then hurt him like how they hurt her sister. When she meets Grey she sets her plan in place. Meanwhile Grey is facing a curse from Jaya’s family and when he’s 18 he’s doomed. Will love win out or will things end poorly

I love fairy tale retellings I know that’s not everyone cup of tea, I personally like to picture our favorite fairy tale characters in more modern settings or heck even in the future. So maybe instead of reading way too many romances I’ll start doing some fairy tale books.
