I love Sarah Dessen and this book was so good. I loved how easy it was to read and how I fell in love with most of the characters. The dad was a bit of an awful human so didn’t really like him. It was written in 2009 so it's a bit older than most books I’ve blogged about.
Summary-
When Auden goes to stay with her dad for the summer she keeps running into a guy. The guy's name is Eli. Soon they develop adventures during the night like going to stores and getting food. Meanwhile, at home, Auden's dad is leaving her stepmother alone with a new baby and her mom is trying to pry into her dad's life to find out the skeletons in his closet. Will Auden discover a new side of her that she’s never seen before or will this trip end in a disaster.
Pretty great book overall. It was funny and had a lot of real-life issues. I really didn’t like some of the characters but I managed to get past my dislike for them and it didn’t ruin a perfectly good romance novel
