I finished this book after a week of reading it during school. Which might not have been the best place to be reading a thrilling book. So I brought it home and finished there and boom I was able to get a whole lot of work done and read farther on the book.
Summary-
Lynnet is made of snow and she was made to be just like her mother that died in childbirth. Mina has a heart of glass her magician father gave her. She can never love or be loved. Mina comes up with a plan to get love and that means she must marry the king. Lynnet wants to be like her stepmother Mina and not like her mom. When Lynnet’s dad gives her the south Mina is outraged and Lynnet runs away and discovers things she’s never known.
Honest opinion time. This book was ok. It took a while to get into and it was a bit of a confusing book at the start. Now a quick disclaimer when it goes to Minas POV in the first chapters is a flashback. Now that might have been why I was so confused. In the end, it picked up the pace and it became the book that I wanted to read. If you like weird magic and twisted things check out this book.
